What to Expect while on Lemonade Diet
The Master Cleanse Lemonade Diet is a quick, effective way of detoxifying your body of harmful substances and reddening yourself of excess fat. As with any fast, the Lemonade Diet can cause some symptoms. Knowing what to expect from the Lemonade Diet can help you deal with these symptoms when they arise.
Hunger: It is normal to feel hungry during the first 3-4 days of a fast like Master Cleanse. The hunger pangs will likely come and go in short cycles. After a few days, the hunger pangs will go away and you will be able to continue with your fast much easier.
Low Energy: During a fast, it is common to feel fatigued occasionally. You may also feel cold because your body doesn’t have as much fuel for heating yourself. Make sure you are getting plenty of rest while on Master Cleanse and wear an extra sweater to stay warm.
Bad Breath: Fasting commonly causes bad breath. While this can be disconcerting, it is a sign that the fast is working. The bad breath – and sometimes bad bodily odors – occurs because your body is getting rid of toxins. These toxins leave through your pores and saliva. You may even notice that your tongue is a fit fuzzy from all those toxins leaving!
Diarrhea: Since you are going to be on a completely liquid diet with Master Cleanse, you can expect loose bowels. After the first day or two, your bowel movements should be completely liquid. Expect some sudden urges to go to the bathroom after your herbal laxative or the salt water flush.
Body Aches: When toxins leave your body, they can impact all areas of your body. The toxins which were stored in muscles can cause aches or tension. Some toxins can cause you to get a headache, like caffeine, sodium and sugars. Unfortunately, bodily aches can last for up to 7 days of a fast. While this is a lot to put up with, take comfort in the fact that all of those toxins are finally getting out of your body!
