“I was really overweight when I started with the Lemonade diet. I didn’t think I would be able to handle not eating and I won’t lie that it was HARD the first 2 days. By day 3, I only had occasional hunger cravings that would come on suddenly but go away quickly. I recommend giving yourself some distraction to help you get through those periods. By the 5th day, I wasn’t hungry but I did feel weak and wanted mostly to lay in bed. The salt water thing is pretty gross so I only did the laxative. Even though the Lemonade Diet wasn’t any fun, I did lose 18 pounds in 10 days during the first run. I gained back 3 of the pounds in a week after I stopped. I did another round of Lemonade Diet 2 months later and lost 15 pounds. Like I said, it isn’t fun but I definitely recommend it. “I make a point of doing a Master Cleanse at least 3x a year. You all must realize that Master Cleanse was never meant to be for weight loss! It is about purifying your body and living a healthier life. The weight loss is just part of that healthier, purer life because excess fat is never good for your body. With all the toxins that are removed from the body during Master Cleanse, you will have headaches, weakness, and feel nauseous. I had all this but it wasn’t so bad and I was still able to work while on Master Cleanse. By the end of the week, you feel fantastic. Do not do Master Cleanse if you just want to lose weight. “I have done a few fasts in my life already and Lemonade Diet is my favorite so far. I get bad joint pain and inflammation and the fasting always takes care of it. The only thing I don’t like about Lemonade Diet is the cayenne pepper. Instead of mixing it with the lemon/maple, I mix a small shot of it and drink it separately.
